Completing the enrolment process

To enrol your child at Little Footprints, families will need to complete an enrolment form and provide the following documentation:
  • A copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport
  • Completed enrolment forms provided in the enrolment pack
Additional forms included in the enrolment pack must be completed before your child begins attending the centre.

Securing your child's place and preparing for their first days

We encourage families to enrol as early as possible to give you the best opportunity of securing a place when one becomes available. Early enrolment also helps us to better accommodate your preferred days and hours, ensuring a smooth transition into care as well as allowing us to plan ahead to support your child and whānau effectively.
Before your child’s first day, we organise pre-entry visits so families and children can become familiar with the centre, teachers, and routines. Families are encouraged to attend up to three visits, with at least one visit required. During this time our teachers support children as they settle in, build relationships with their key teacher and peers, and become comfortable in the environment. All rooms work with a key teacher system to help create a secure bond and support a smooth transition into the centre.
